We invite you to join the Élan Circle of the Dallas Symphony Orchestra League whose members who have generously supported the Dallas Symphony Orchestra for nearly 50 years. By becoming a member of Élan Circle, you join a distinctive group of women who believe they best serve the DSO by offering a variety of community service, educational and social programs and raising money for the DSO through fun and educational events, as well as by making direct contributions of their time and resources.

Most importantly you join members who embrace life, and their service to the DSO with true “élan”, bringing both an “enthusiastic vigor and liveliness” and “distinctive style or flair” to all that they and the group do. This is a vibrant group providing its members a fun, stylish social environment filled with opportunities for musical enrichment, meeting new friends, connecting with old friends, and participating in a variety of stylish and exciting activities. Simply said – Élan Circle members know how to get important things done in Dallas, and do so with lots of fun and high style!

The Élan Circle of the DSOL was established in 1959. Active Membership is limited to women under the age of 45, and Associate Membership is open to any age. Active requirements include attendance at three daytime or evening meetings a year, one fundraising and one service credit per year.

Projects of the Élan Circle include:

• Savor the Symphony Fine Wine Dinner and Auction
• Deck the Hall Children’s Christmas Concert
• Fireside Chats
• Symphony Y.E.S. (Youth Educational Services)
• Youth Concerts at the Meyerson
• DSO Season Ticket Renewal Campaign.
